Ambient Gaseous sampling Systems

It is widely recognized that Particulate Matter pollution has the greatest effect on human health. However, extensive studies have shown that there exist a number of gaseous pollutants which when present in the ambient air beyond specified limits can also seriously endanger the health of humans.

A number of these gaseous pollutants are recognized as primary pollutants. These include :

  • Sulphur Oxides (SOx)
  • Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Ammonia (NH3)
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOC)

A number of secondary pollutants may also pollute ambient air. Some of these include :

  • Ground level ozone (O3)
  • Peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN)

Gaseous sampling involves the entrapment of gaseous pollutants in specific entrapment media. The media is generally of two types :

  • Wet chemical solution
  • Solid Adsorption media

We manufacture a variety of gaseous sampling systems for sampling of various gaseous pollutants based the following parameters :

  • 1. Entrapment media
  • 2. Number of simultaneous gaseous pollutants to sample
  • 3. Stand alone sampling or in combination with particulates
  • 4. Type of cooling arrangement

We manufacture a variety of Solid Adsorption media based gaseous sampling systems based on flow measurement and control methods
